Abby is a Villanova senior from Wexford, PA. She is currently working toward a major in Electrical Engineering, and a Math minor in addition to her SBI Business minor.
Abby tries her best to stay involved on and off campus, even with all of that engineering work to get done! She’s a member of Kappa Delta sorority, where she served as the Alumni Relations chairperson. She was also the Publicist for Villanova’s Baking Club. FInally, last summer she worked as a Distribution Engineering Standards Intern for PPL Electric in Allentown. We’re looking forward to the great things she does as a future engineer! #1: What is one fun fact about you?
“I’m allergic to bananas.”
#2: What is your favorite college memory?
“Probably getting a bid from Kappa Delta freshman year.”
#3: If you could have dinner with one person, who would it be?
“My grandma because she passed away my senior year of high school and I miss her a lot.”
#4: What’s on your bucket list?
“Visit Paris and climb the Eiffel Tower.”
#5: What is your all-time favorite movie?
Gregory is from Bridgewater, NJ and graduated from Villanova in 2014. His undergraduate major was Political Science, and he’s currently at law school at The College of William and Mary.
During his time at Villanova, Gregory was very active both on and off campus. Do you ever read the SBI blog? Well, Gregory was the SBI marketing intern that helped launch the blog a few years back! “The Other Guys”
#2: If you could have dinner with one person, who would it be?
“Abraham Lincoln: he lived a fascinating life, even before he was elected President and saved the Union. From what I’ve read, he also had a great sense of humor.”
#3: What’s your favorite college memory?
“The Nova-Syracuse game in 2013. Studying for the 1st FMR exam is a close second.”
#4: Name one thing on your bucket list.
“See the Northern Lights.”
#5: Why did you decide to enroll in SBI?
“I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in law, so I was looking for a business background that will prove useful if I ever decide to start my own practice.”
Brynn is currently a junior here at Villanova, and she completed SBI this past summer. She’s working on a degree in Communication, with minors in Psychology and Classical Studies, in addition to her SBI minor!
Brynn, who comes to Villanova from Newtown, PA, is very involved on campus. She is a member of Alpha Phi sorority and Bridge Society. She also belongs to Eta Sigma Pi, the National Classics Honor Society. Brynn also contributes her time to working with The Villanovan, our school’s newspaper. As for her career plans, she doesn’t know what exactly she wants to do but she’s keeping all of her options open!

“I’ve had 60 stitches in my face and you can’t tell that I have them.”

Janine completed SBI in 2012 and graduated from Villanova in 2015. This Holbrook, NY native was very busy during her time as a Villanova student: she triple-majored in English, History, and Honors and had minors in Economics and Classical Studies in addition to her Business minor. Over the past few months, Janine has been in South Korea working as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant. She has been teaching conversational and written English to hundreds of Korean high school students and volunteering for great causes along the way. Here is Janine’s Fast Five!

“As an English major, I wanted to learn more about how to apply my writing and critical thinking skills to new settings.”

“When I studied abroad in England, I saw the Queen!”
