What are your career plans?

I want to go into Publishing and one day own my own Publishing House for either books or magazines.

I made note cards for everything. Although they take time to make, writing them actually made it easier for me to memorize the test information, especially for Corporate Responsibility and CE.

Standard

Jonathan is a member of the Villanova Class of 2015 from Hong Kong, China. He is pursuing majors in Mathematics and Physics, with minors in and Economics and Business.

Why did you decide to do SBI?

Simply put, I decided to do SBI because I needed to get some basic business knowledge before I venture into my career after college, since prior to SBI I had virtually no formal training on self-presentation through resumes and LinkedIn, nor understanding properly how a firm works.

What are your career plans?

I’m a numbers guy, so I plan on going into the field of actuarial science and becoming an actuary for a firm. Other options include working for an IT company or teaching at a university level.

What’s a “fun fact” about yourself?

I’m perfect pitch, which means I can tell the key of a random musical note played just by hearing it.

What music are you currently listening to?

Stuff that was played on Warped Tour 2014, which I attended during the summer and didn’t regret any of it.

Any SBI study tips/tricks?

Figure out an efficient study strategy QUICK. Different teachers teach differently, and if you can’t study efficiently and adapt to the teaching style, you’ll fall behind.
